Paul Krugman, an economist himself, referred to the work of other economists in a New York Times column last week about education, technology, and employment.  Related is The Race between Education and Technology, a 2008 book by economists Claudia Goldin and Lawrence Katz.

The Race between Education and Technology was among the works cited in a February 28 account of a February 16 Literacy Forum.
