Today, NPR reported on the funding of a Vermont bookmobile, thanks to the generosity of a donor who heard an earlier NPR/VPR report on how a rural bookmobile’s future was in jeopardy.
The New Haven Public Library, marking its 125th anniversary (as reported by the New Haven Independent) this year, is seeking funds for a new bookmobile. Bookmobiles throughout the region were the subject of an April 30 New Haven Register article.
