News, Video: “Language, Bilingualism, and Literacy — in School and Beyond”

Thursday, October 20th, 2016

The New Haven Independent published an article about the September 29 forum, “Language, Bilingualism, and Literacy — in School and Beyond.”

The Connecticut Network video-taped the program, now available online.

The event, which — for example — was promoted (in English and Spanish) from the New Haven Public Schools to the Public Library, reflected a collaboration among the school district, the Connecticut Association of Latino Administrators and Superintendents (CALAS), and the Literacy Coalition of Greater New Haven, at LiteracyEveryday.org.

A version of the article also appears at Medium.
