Coalition Adds to Board, Thanks Colleagues for Service

Thursday, January 18th, 2018

The Literacy Coalition of Greater New Haven is pleased to welcome its two newest members of the organization’s volunteer board:

  • Earl Bloodworth, program manager of the Warren Kimbro Reentry Project of the City of New Haven; and
  • Louis Perno, executive director of Literacy Volunteers of Greater New Haven.

The Coalition is grateful for the service of three colleagues who recently rotated off the board:

  • Rob Coro of Marcum LLP (which will continue generously to offer the Coalition in-kind promotional support);
  • Mary Elizabeth Smith (previously of Junta for Progressive Action and now of Make the Road); and
  • Donna Violante (who preceded Louis Perno at Literacy Volunteers before retiring).  Donna served as board treasurer, as well.

Thanks to all!
