Public Library Newsmakers

Wednesday, December 12th, 2018
Luis Chavez-Brumell, the young librarian now heading the New Haven Public Library’s Wilson branch in the Hill neighborhood, was featured in a Lucy Gellman piece for the Arts Paper.  Last year, he participated as a panelist in a Literacy Forum that the Literacy Coalition of Greater New Haven convened.
Also, Brad Bullis of the Public Library has been succeeded on the Literacy Coalition board by his library colleague John Jessen.  The board thanks Brad Bullis for his committed service and welcomes John Jessen–who happens to have been a predecessor to Luis Chavez-Brumell as leader of the Wilson branch.
