The Literacy Coalition of Greater New Haven is an all-volunteer non-profit organization. Members of the Coalition Board are drawn from non-profit, governmental, and corporate sectors. They share a desire to assist those with literacy-related challenges in finding the help they need, and to assist other members of the public in finding ways that they can help to address the needs of their neighbors and communities through volunteerism or donations. In service of these goals, the Coalition organizes public forums that bring together literacy and other educational providers to share information, to build relationships, to realize efficiencies, and to develop resources.
